Hey, I'm Dav (dah-v), or Dav (day-v), or whatever you find most convenient.
I'm a 2D and 3D(ish) artist who likes video games, and sometimes mods said games.
In a time where platform decay is increasingly more common, I saw appeal in indie web development/Neocities as a way to create a definitive centerpiece for my online presence, as well taking it as an opportunity to learn HTML/CSS as I develop my website. Interests
I'm an aspiring multimedia artist that's aiming to not only improve, but also be able to connect. Whether it'd be figuring out Krita's tools or sketching enough times to get a good feel for my style. There's also adjacent trades I'm hoping to sharpen, such as 3D modeling and graphic design.
When I'm not doing such, I also like playing video games (not the "look how realistic these skin pores are" type ones).
I typically vibe with stuff under the indie umbrella (even if it also means AA), as well as a plethora of previous gen games from the GameCube to the PlayStation 1/2.
Rather than just being "content to consume", it's an opportunity to see the artistic appeal they offer.
My favorite franchises, games and genres include Pikmin, Undertale/Deltarune, Metroid, SRB2Kart and Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers, roguelikes/lites, arcade puzzle games like Tetris, and many others.

- Hoping we can live peacefully without elites playing Cookie Clicker on our lives
